Lunch was at a small bistro near Marie’s store and she was in rare form. She asked me about my date Wednesday evening. I was telling her we went to dinner and she stopped me and said “he took you to ____” and he had beef cooked well done. Didn’t he? I was laughing because I’ve seen the gentleman four or five times and we always went to the same (awful for Paris) restaurant and he always had some variation of beef and always well done. “Guy is such a lovely man,” she said, (he isn’t), “but he has such awful taste in food (true), you’d think he was English.”

“Now Louis,” referring to my Thursday night date, “he’ll surprise you by taking you to an obscure tiny Moroccan restaurant that no one even knows about until the read about it in Le Monde in a few months and then he’ll take you to some boutique hotel. I bet Murano. And then he’ll want you to wear some dreadful tarts outfit.” Laughing again I told her it was already in my bag.

We moved on to talking about how she planned close down the agency. She decided against an announcement to the clients. She would leave the website up with an explanation there and would provide the contact information for the girls who currently work for her. I picked at my salad for a moment working up the courage to ask her what she planned to do with the client list, and then I asked.

She looked past me and said, “I’m hoping Monica will take over the agency.” Monica is a US based escort who’s fortyish and has been a friend of Marie’s for years. “But her husband is against it, and Monica is concerned about the children if something were to happen.” I took that to mean a legal something. “If that doesn’t work I have other options,” she finished.

“Are you interested?” She asked. I had an answer to this because I’d thought about it. “No”, I told her, “I like the business but I don’t want it to be my life.” “Smart girl,” (a ForTwo cabrio girl indeed) she said. She then went on to tell me she had other options but didn’t explain them.

“Do you want a list of the men who have inquired about you?” She asked. I had an answer for that also it was yes. I’ve pretty much decided that I’m going to be a prostitute for a while longer.

Damned that we men are almost all so predictable.

Staying in for a while; raising capitol or just not ready to let go?

Talk to me. :)

There's always going to be special difficulties for any American who would want to take over or run such an operation. Our guys will reach and and nap you for the temerity of daring to provide such entertainments. especially if based in the states. And they're not above lying about it to entrap the owners/operators either. Just a thought. Here's wishing you enough luck in your 'above ground' business that you can work yourself out of a job eating out in bad restaurants in Paris. Geez that sucks! Cheers & Good Luck, 'VJ'

That should have been 'Our guys will reach out and nab you for the temerity of daring to provide such entertainments, especially if based in the states', (in the above post). Sorry about that!

G, yes the money is nice, but the reality is that I'm not ready to let go.

I hope when you are ready to leave the 'entertainment' business, it doesn't mean the end of this blog. Will you be working on your own once the agency is closed or will you find another agency or work with the next madam? Hope your legit business is thriving! How is the African sub-contractor doing whom you took a chance on? Hope he is doing good work.

Pete the blog is independent of being an escort so quiting that life doesn't mean ending the blog.
