Discussion about the demonstrations has dominated many conversations over the past week and though I’ve tried to ignore it I’ve found myself drawn into those discussions. Perhaps since I own a business I should be more informed regarding the issue but I’m not. I do know that the cost of benefits and commitment made me pause when I was deciding what to do about an employee, but my advisor pointed out that if the point came when I needed to lay off my employee I’d probably be closing the business anyway.

The Clandestine Call Girl has a very good post on why escorting is a better part time gig rather than a full time career.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been following a few blogs written by escorts that I’d like to share.

Moonlighting Escort
has been in and out of the business for several years while maintaining a professional career as a day job. I enjoy her insights and observations particularly I’m attracted to her ruminations on why she returns to the business.

On Her Mind describes herself as a soccer mom for whom escorting helps make ends meet. And she has a young beau.

A Feenix Call Girl is a college student relatively new to the business, working for an agency. She has been around just long enough t have felt the ups and downs of the trade.

She sometimes sees 3-4 clients a day. That makes me tired just thinking about it.

She uses her own apartment as an in-call. OH MY.

Her neighbor has noticed the traffic. YIKES!

And she has a boyfriend. That’s going to be trouble.

If I can get permission I’ll add them to my sidebar.
