There has been a boomlette of blogs by escorts lately, particularly blogs that have links or are pages in the companion’s professional site. I guess these are part of the escorts marketing as well as serving as an outlet.

These attached blogs lack the freedom that anonymity offers and there subject matter tends to be circumspect. After all a post on the characteristics of a poor client or of the woman’ emotional response to her career as a companion are not likely to be attractive to a prospective client. Excepting those who are of a creative bent with words, the attached blogs tend to fall into two categories, travelogue/social commentary and salacious stories. Both are well worn paths and it will be interesting what writers in the attached blogs can develop a following.

That's why I blog under a different name. It gives me the freedom to express how I really feel about the job-the good and the bad. I enjoy my work but sometimes I need to vent and blow off steam.

I too think Anon is the way to go, for many, many reasons, but for safety too. But good interesting writing will prove out. We've got plenty of good writers everywhere, and it's a pleasure to read them where & when they do show up. Cheers & Good Luck! 'VJ'

They are marketing. If you set aside the bad connotations, they're trying to attract clients of the type they want: compatible, of a certain class.
