Two posts in progress, lost to manic hard drive cleaning, I should have checked to see if they were backed up. O well.

This made me smile this morning one for the cover art, and two because Tui’s writing again. Plus she has a new pal.

Since I no longer have those posts, I’ll clean out my bookmarks.

Still need an explanation of what's happening on Wall St?

You've heard of the running of the bulls, this is the distaff edition.

New York Minute: The Running Of The Brides

Yes, really the waiter was a total chimp.

Imagine how hard this would have been before computers.

Didn't he hear about the grizzly bear guy?

Thanks Kim, All very interesting stuff. The guy with the loins is clearly crackers, but the most dangerous thing on the clip was when he was mixing it up with a hyena in the lion cage. They're naturally great enemies in the wild, and if he ever gets killed, it's there trying to separate out the 2 groups. Just silly all around. The Coin Star bit is cute, except if you've seen who uses these shysters as proxy banks. Pretty depressing. The only shoes momma's likely to see from them are from Wal-Mart or Target. At best. Filenes 'Running of the Brides' is famous, even if the stores are officially in bankruptcy. Their flagship store in Boston was gutted despite having landmark status too. Depressing all around. All the white gowns, and the trains too! You'd think we were living in some 1950's fantasy world. When are we all going to grow up, eh? The question for the ages! Cheers & Good Luck, 'VJ'

That should have been Lions there, right? He's do better to stick mucking with the loins though! Cheers, 'VJ'
