Tuesday Parliament is to debate marriage equality and adoption rights for same sex couples. It appears that there is enough support for these to pass, but nothing is assured. Yesterday, thousands took to the streets in support. I'm hoping for a victory.

It's been legal in Canada for ten years and guess what? Nobody cares.

Incidentally, the Province of Ontario will have its first openly lesbian Premier as soon as she forms a cabinet and is sworn in by the Lieutenant Governor.
